October Long Weekend

Haven’t had your sabre on the water since last season? This Sunday (October
2nd) at Brighton and Seacliff Yacht club, weather permitting,  there will be a series of short races starting at around 10.30 for a pre-lunch session and start again after a lunch break. Ian Young has offered to help start/run the races with the YMS tinny.

This isn’t a club organised event and all are welcome. In the past we’ve had as many as 20 sabres on the water. So if you want to come out for a sail, bring your sabre and hit the water. For any more information please contact Rob Gale.

Measuring Nights

A gentle reminder that measuring nights are 23rd September and 30 September at Largs Bay and Brighton respectively from 7pm to 9pm.  Those who intend sailing the State Championships and the National Championships will need to have their foils and sails measured at either of these nights.  The Measurer may have limited other times if you don’t get them measured on those nights which may be inconvenient to you.  Those NOT entering Championships ARE NOT REQUIRED to have their foils or sails measured or checked as per amendment to the rules as previously advised.
